    QB Tom Brady

    RB Travis Henry

    RB M. Barber

    WR Terrell Owens

    WR J. Porter

    TE Tony Gonzalez

    K Robbie Gould

    D/ST Bears

    P. Rivers; L.J. Smith; D/ST Saints; Matt Jones; Leon Wasington; Dwayne Jarrett

    -Michael Irvin

Perfect offseason: Barber stays and gets a long contract √

For the past 14 years, from 1994 through 2008, The U has had at least one player selected in the first round of the NFL draft, including 19 in 4 years a record unmatched by any other college or university.

There, now it is in the fantasy football section.  You should see about trading one of your quarterbacks for a runningback.  Either of your QBs could be solid everyday players but you desperately need another solid runner.

Thanks for moving my thread I originally wanted to pick up roy williams but I needed a back so I had to take T. Henry I think he'll be one of the more productive backs this year  I'm counting on him really doing well in Denver I really want a trade for someone like Frank Gore to go with Henry but P. Rivers is my only backup QB so there would be no one I could but in for Brady in his bye week though it might be worth it to have both Gore and Henry

Yeah I would definitely trade Rivers for a decent back. You might want to try and find another WR too. Maybe trade Bears and Porter for a D like Dallas and a better WR. Besides that you should be fine.

    Re: Draft Day

I just won't give up my powerhouse defense and special teams unit especially since Hester is still their kick returner ( what college is he from again?) but I'll still try to put together something to bring in a Roy Williams or a Steve Smith but i think TO will put up big enough numbers this year so that I can call my biggest need a running back right now I'm looking at Marice Jones-Drew I think he could do pretty good numbers wise.

Well i think I got my running back situation settled now I need to get my WR position down here's my updated roster

    Tom Brady

    Travis Henry

    Marice Jones-Drew

    Jerry Porter

    Terrell Owens

    Tony Gonzalez

    Robbie Gould

    Bears DST

    Phillip Rivers/ Dwayne Jarrett/ Matt Jones/ Raider DST/ L.J. Smith/ Marion Barber

I'm thinking of creating somekind of package with Tony Gonzalez and Phillip Rivers but I'm not sure if it's smart to give up Gonzalez' potential point production

If you're not wanting to give up much you could do a trade for Jerious Norwood of the Falcons, I heard Dunn is getting back surgery. You could get yourself a solid starter for not much at all. Hope this helps

Normally that would be a good move but with Vick possibly not playing this season I doubt it will be. Teams will load up and make Joey beat them. He's not really a threat to run like Vick so I doubt any ATL rb's have a good year unless Vick plays.

    Re: Draft Day

Well right now I'm trying to bring in another receiver but I'm not sure I'm making a tempting enough offer

I'm offering Marion Barber and Phillip Rivers for Randy Moss the key thing is the other owner only has Mike Vike as a QB no one else also he two backs are Ronnie Brown and Warrick Dunn so I think he's kinda in abind there since the best free agent he can pick up is Rex Grossman

To another team I'm offering the Raiders DST and Phillip Rivers for Chad Johnson the upside is his backup QB is Daunte Culpepper and his backup DST is the Carolina Panthers and they play the Colts in the Ravens bye-week where as the Raiders have a top ten D and play the Titans

My last offer is Marion Barber and the Raiders DST for Santanna Moss that's cause his backs are pretty weak and he has the Colts DST and that's it the only reason I only go for Moss and not a better WR (he also has Staleworth and TJ Houshmandzadeh) is cause well the Raiders play the Chargers in the Colts bye-week and it was the Raider Passing D not Running D that made them a top 10 D and I think I might still be able to haggle Randy Moss out of the Guy who took Mike Vick in the first round and didn't select another QB

I can give up Barber cause I got Jones-Drew and Henry both active and when one goes out I can play a flex option.  I can give up the Raiders D cause I got like 3 or 4 matchups I can count on in free agency during the Bears bye-week. I can give up Rivers cause I got a couple of free agent options I can count on week 10 during Brady's bye week

It sounds good on paper to me but I still have doubts any comments (please)?
