When it is all said and done, the petition is to be sent to Jerry. You only need to give your email addy. (Invisible to everyone unless the validity of the signatures ends up in question)

No guarantee it will have any impact whatsoever. Still, it felt good to do this much for Coach after all that The Man In The Funny Hat did for us.

I hate to put a damper on this, but the recent trend of naming stadiums after the company that put up the most money to sponsor construction will most likely come into play here. I agree that LANDRY STADIUM, or LANDRY FIELD  sounds better than something like  "T-Mobile Stadium" or "AT&T Feild"...or even Troys fav.."Acme Brick Coloseum". But the fact remains that, in this era of corporate sponsorship, it doesn't really matter what the fans want...the allmighty dollar always wins! I made it 545...I love the concept, and maybe it will at LEAST get Jerry to name the in stadium  Museum  after Tom.

I'd love it to be Texas Stadium or Tom Landry Stadium.

That would be amazingly classy.  I hate that large corporations continually are in our faces.  I mean seriously, what does any corporation have to do at all with the Cowboys Stadium other than they payed the most money to have a right to piss their name all our stadium?

But hey...Jerrah didn't get rich by being sentimental.   If someone offered me a billion dollars for naming rights, I'm pretty sure, I'd have to take the money and run.

You are quite probably right. There is very little say that the fans have in this, but at least this is saying something, and you never know, maybe Jerry will find a way to get Coach's name in there somewhere, if he sees that alot of fans would like it to be.

I think JJ has already said he plans to honor Coach Landry in the new stadium...I just don't remember where...it may BE the museum or a statue. JJ aint stupid...he knows how we feel about our HC (we miss you Tom) and will do something to honor him!

If I were Jerry Jones and I spent half a billion from my own pocket to build the stadium for the city, the team and the fans...I would certainly like to to profit from it in the long run. Sentiments are nice, and there are many ways to pay tribute to Tom Landry. But naming rights are way too valuable.

  Correct, these companies pay BIG money to have thier names on these stadiums. I just dont see this happening,but it would be great.

I signed it.  But if I were a betting man, I'd place a bet on something like "Exxon Mobil Stadium," "Chevron Field," or something along those lines.  I can definately see big oil getting involved with the naming rights of the new stadium, especially with Jerry's old ties to them.
