Love to come back here Monday morning and see about 1000 complaining whining moaning posts......and then oh darn, they won, so I can't complain anymore. In the Staubach era, he was the come back king. He wouldn't have been the come back king if Dallas wasn't behind in the last quarter a lot. But yet, they won 2 superbowls and are considered one of the premier teams in history. When you're on top, teams are going to come after you. What did you expect Detroit to roll over on their backs with their legs spread in the air? This is the NFL, teams are going to score, move the ball, make plays, that's why its the NFL. The Cheats barely beat the Eagles and Ravens and won in the last seconds, and the Ravens are half the team that Detroit is. Detroit is a pretty darn good team. What do you want? Besides, these types of games are some of the most exciting around. I think some of you people should think about that before starting your next B-tching and whining post. Not to mention they're 12-1 which is twice over a Cowboys franchise record. This team may even be better than the 90s team, yet we still see the usual motley crue of whiners. You guys should buy some midol and chill.

Man, could you imagine if we had that D from the 90s mixed with this current offense?!  Now that would be non-arguably the best team ever assembled in this sport... ever!

It's just business as usual, around here.

Hell yes I am happy about the win.  I love how Romo made the plays, twice.  If Witten makes the first catch. If Folk makes the first field goal.  The game obviously would have been different.  How about some questionable non calls against our d?  There were two pass interference calls not made , in the opinion of some.  Any other ref crew probably would have called that. That also likely would change the outcome. Am I glad to see that some calls didn't get called , yeah, but ya feel dirty inside if you know you got away with one. Dallas was lucky, I repeat lucky to WIN the game.  Yes I am happy about it. But lets face it, it was ugly. 

Well part of the problem is that in the age of the Patriots running up the score by 30 points (exceptions being against Philly and Baltimore of course) is that they've set a standard where if you don't do the same you're no good, even when you're 12-1. Any other year, the Cowboys would look like a shoe-in for their 6th Lombardi trophy but because the Pats are playing the way they are, we're going to get a bunch of negativity and complaining even after pulling off close wins. Do I agree with it? Not at all. Doesn't mean I don't have concerns like anybody else but after 10 years of not getting past the 1st round of the post season, I'm not going to let it ruin the fun I'm having watching my favorite team either. 

How many times did John Elway comback?  How bout Joe Montana leading his team down the field after Danny White led ours for score.  Joe passing to Dwight for the 'catch'.  I cried and cried and cried and cried (I was 11 at the time, although I probably would have cried no matter what my age is).  We are having arguably our best season and there are so many poo poo'ers out there.  The only reason we played poorly is because craig sheeman picked us to win.  The 'c' jinks almost got us!!  That's how good the cowboys are!!

Nice post Evil.  Lots of people here frustrated witht he D's performance and are sure that this is gonna be our downfall in the post season.

Here's what my profile has said since I joined last season - Began watching the Boys back when Staubach was the King of the 2 minute win. Began to understand football when I began to question how come he had to help win so many in the last 2 minutes.

 I love a good sit on the edge of your seat game.  There is nothing more exciting that a game that goes down to the wire.  It gets the blood pounding and makes you jump up and down.  And then you get all week to rehash it again and again.  Let's face it, if you play dominanting games where the other team is just whipped in a few minutes, you get the W but you get bored.  Who remembers those plays 10 years later?  We will be talking about games like this one for years to come.

The worst part is that I have Barber and decided instead to start Earnest Graham! I am so bummed out!!!

All wins cannot be pretty if they are eventually when you get in tough situations you won't pull out the tough wons these wins make you battle tested
