So how many died an unpleasant death in FF this week

Thanks to a bad Cowboys game?

I was in Yahoo Semi-Finals in two leagues, both of them in first place.  Thanks to the bad game, I nosedived out of first place.

What a way to go down in flames.

Oh well, I rode long and hard with their stats most of the season.  Guess it was time to pay up.

Nothing to do now but wait for it all to start again.

I'm playing for a 3rd place game this week now! whoopy.  I thought I had the players in place.  Brady and TO just didn't cut it for me....  lost by 1 point.  If I would have started Garrand I would have won by ten.

Oddly enough, I surprsingly survived the Moss+Brady combo. AP pulled it out Monday night, but a big hand went to TE Scheffler of Denver(16 points).

Well those last three weeks almost killed me.  I went from 1st place in two leagues down to 4th.

In a points only league, I squeaked out a 1st place there.

On MSN I had a team in the lead at 11-2 before the play-offs and the first round was when Dallas played Philly the second time, so you guessed it I did end up beating a patriots fan who had Brady and Moss for third place though so I guess it worked out alright, though not quite what I expected.

I took 2nd place on my yahoo league.  I guess this is better than nothing.  It was my first attempt at it.

My league has payouts for top 3 places (600/360/240).  I was in 4th place, playing the guy that was in 2nd.  If I beat him by 22 points, I could edge him out in points leaving me in 3rd and him in 4th.  Anyhow, I have Stecker on my roster and see that he is injured.  I race out to see if I can get Pierre Thomas (as he's hurting for players too), but he had already picked him up.  I was just going to pick him up and stow him away for the week.  Thomas rolls out 28 fantasy points.  I beat him, but only by 13 points, so I finished 4th.

This is the worst offseason since we had 0 1st round picks and took Quincy Carter in the 2nd round.
