    True Blue Fan Club

Is anyone a member of the Dallas Cowboys True Blue Fan Club. I am considering getting membership for the fan club since I can't afford PSL's. Anyone want to share any info? I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm a member - and it's worth it if you plan on buying merchandise or go to the games....you get a discount on every purchase.  It pays off at the games with free admittance to the corral ($5.00).  Just depends - I got my $20 back last year....and then a little more.

Right! I forgot about that one - if I remember right, you're able to get down on the field (in limited numbers) I believe.  I wasn't a club member until I went to a game last year....

I have always wanted to become a member. Though honestly I have never knew how to go about doing it. How to join it or where to go to join it. Plus I also wasn't sure if it was worth the money.

Just mail in your form and $19.95 - if you have a Cowboys store around you you can sign up there as well.  Honestly, unless you  buy merchandise at the store, or attend games and buy merchandise and go to the Corral - I'm not really sure if it's worth it...like I said, I got my $20 back and then some.  For you, it may not be the case.

Well I am in Missouri, Rams and Chiefs country. So there are no Cowboys stores near me, unless I go online. Plus I do not attend games. Which is why I was wondering if it would be worth it for me to get it.

I would like to see that copy of the personalized letter from Jerry Jones. Did you get one of those? What does it look like?

It's just a form letter talking about how great of a tradition the Cowboys are and how by joining the club you become part of the tradition - complete with fake signature.

    I didn't keep mine.

I forgot to mention the buy 1 get 1 free Texas Stadium Tour - that helps pay for it too.  But again, if you aren't going to be at Texas Stadium, and don't have a Cowboys Store in your area, benefits are limited.

I have one and I live in IA.  If I lived near Dallas, I think it would be worth it.  I did order some stuff from the DC proshop and used my discount.  It was kinda of a pain because I ordered online then had to call a 1800 number and was on hold forever to get my 15% discount.  I did get it though.

I worked at a Pro Shop over the summer, but they were transitioning to True Blue from the original fan club just as I was heading back to school. Yeah, you get a few free items, lots of random benefits, and I think still some free passes for a tour of Texas Stadium, but the biggest thing is the discount. What is the membership now, 15 or 20 dollars? And you get your discount on anything you buy at a Pro Shop or the online Pro Shop. Basically, if you ever plan on spending $150 or $200 or more on Cowboys stuff, which isn't that much considering that genuine replica jerseys are $75 dollars and shirts and hats are like $20, you might as well get it. Because your discount will then pay for the cost of membership and then more. The employees are really pressured to sell those memberships, so it helps them out too. I mean, basically, if a customer spends a couple of hundred dollars at once buying Cowboys stuff (which happens a lot because of all the out-of-Dallas fans that want to get their gear), they actually save money by buying the membership. Also, I believe they send out emails to fanclub members if there is a current or former player doing autographs at stores near them.

Still waiting to see any sports team I'm a fan of win a championship. Still waiting. STILL WAITING.
