If you liked Army of Darkness, you had to have liked its predecessor  "Evil Dead"

OK so a cool thing about Army of Darkness was you get these 'add ons' for Doom II.  forgot what they were called.  So you could play Doom II and the Marine would be shooting up stuff saying, "Come get some!".  the pink two legged cow things running around saying, "I'll swallow your soul".

"Maverick" was one of my favorite movies.  I thought Mel Gibson was a riot.  Before i ever saw it, the movie panners said it was long and boring.  I loved it.

OK, Ellis is a bit above average.

Agreed. They shouldn't have thrown Uncle Jessie off the boat though. Pretty cool flick in my opinion.

The Major League series.  I mean in general, baseball movies suck...  To me baseball sucks in general.  But I liked those (first 2) movies.

Lmao! Classic, forgotten. So many quotes - "If you hit a man, in time his wounds will heal. If you steal from a man, you can replace what you've stolen. But always cross in the green, never in between. Because the honorable Elijah Muhammed Ali floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee. And always remember my brother, one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish, knick knack, paddy whack, give a dog a bone, two thousand, zero, zero, party, oops! Out of time, my bacon smellin' fine." effing funny. I like how Ashtrays dad was younger than him!

Nah, that was a pretty good movie.  Not great, but entertaining enough.

As for the actual point of the thread.  Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny.  I even agree it is horrible.  But it was Tenacious D.  In a movie.  That made it awesome.  I enjoyed it far more than I should have.

10,000 BC...if you read what the movie-snobs on IMDB say, you'll never see it.  I watched it and kind of liked it.  It wasn't near as bad as they said, and actually, I thought it was good.  And I'm hard on movies.

    Ugh, that movie was crap.

I thought it looked cool and me and my friends went to see it the first day, no reviews beforehand. I didn't like it. Wasn't horrible, but it was so different than the ads portrayed it as, and it just wasn't that good overall
