I feel like the only back worth moving up to get is Mendenhall.  He has the speed and quickness and hipswivel...along with the vision to see the hole and the power to take on a tackle...in order for that to happen...we need to get ahead of the bears...or maybe even the jets...

If we dont take mendenhall...im ok with waiting till later rounds on an RB....CB and WR are a priority also...CB from VT....WR TX...all decent #1st rnd options.....wait on a smith or rice or charles...who all grade out like jones...imho

The Big12 provides us with so many linebackers and defensive lineman int the pro ranks. Will leave you statisticians to expound and express. As far as the players, and their accomplishments. I do not say the other conferences have not sent them. God forbid i should not mention Notre Dame.

so my points is this, what running backs that come out of the Big12 healthy,,,, and with stat's to match. it is not a sure bet, but a good bet to take a stat back out of the Big12. Hell we seen them take players with injury questions. 

This is why I feel that Jamal is a good bet not a sure bet to pick up and bring to our competition camp, to showcase his talents against a good defense. Unlike Marion that is coming at you now,,,,Jamal is coming. And when he does,,,he usually has the ball in the air,,,,TD babby...

Yes, you may ask. My only problem with DMac has been his propensity to put the ball on the turf. He'd be getting hit a lot harder, and more often, in the NFL so that just causes me some major concern.

I don't buy the whole Jerry Jones and Arkansas connection. I mean, I believe he is a fan but I don't think he'll draft for that reason. It's not like Darren McFadden and Felix Jones are the first players from Arkansas to enter the draft. He's passed on Arkansas players before. He didn't trade up to take Shawn Andrews and he didn't stay at pick 22 and take Ahmad Carroll (he was a good prospect), he traded back that year to take Juilus Jones who was actually a good back when he first came to Dallas. I don't know why he fell off, but he was a good RB when we selected him.

Anyway, despite the rumors that Jerry Jones will draft a player from Arkansas, history has proven that he won't take them just for the sake of being from his favorite school.
