    Enemy territory

I've been a fan sice I was 5, and lived in New Jersey 1 county from the medowlands all my life. I HATE THE GIANTS (note screenname), even more than the Redskins and Eagles (that's hard to do) Their egos are so big, I just can't wait to see them after they realize that their team other than D-line was the definition of "fluke" and will NOT go 19-0 next year just 'cause they beat N.England. I even saw a "New York Football Giants SB champs" OFFICIAL SODA! I can't wait for football season this offseason is never-ending and its still May!

Living in Jersey, Giants fans may say, "Why root for Dallas? Root for the hometown Giants!" To this, the proper response is: "I do root for the home team. I live in America, and I root for America's team!"

I hear you loud and clear. I drive by the Meadowlands everyday. I was born in Jersey, but moved to PA for a while, then back to Jersey. So I've had to deal with both Giants and Eagles fans all of my life.

Bah I grew up in NJ dead in the middle of the Meadowlands and the Vet.....I feel your pain...but man did I ever take it on the chin.

Redskins owner, George Preston Marshall, met the Dallas team with opposition. The owners bought "Hail to the Redskins" and refused to allow Marshall to play the song. Marshall changed his mind, and Dallas, was granted an NFL franchise on January 28, 1960.

I tip my hat off to Dallas Cowboy fans who aren't from Texas.  I grew up in Texas and it was either the Cowboys or the Oilers.  The Cowboys just seemed like the best team to root for.  I never got into the powder blue uniforms of the Oilers.

Now I live in the Northwest and am a minority when it comes to being a Dallas Cowboy fan.  Hopefully soon, I'll get stationed in Texas so I can feel at home.

Thank you for being a Cowboy fan even though you are in enemy territory.

    HOW 'BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!

    AMERICA'S ONE AND ONLY TEAM!!!

    Re: Enemy territory

Giants fans are worse than the eagle fans around here, there were NONE after that Giants/Vikings game when Eli throught like 4 INT returned for TDs. Eagle fans are very quiet here-they know their team sucks and if they open their mouths Cowboy/Giant fans will just laugh at them. I've never met a Redskin fan so I guess I'm lucky there

I would throw the giants eagles and skins all on the same boat.  Yea, that boat that is certainly sinking to the bottom of the ocean.  They all would be on that boat and there would be no life preservers,        accidentally on purpose though.

I've been a Cowboy's fan all my life.  When I was young it was either the boys, the raiders or the Steelers.  I'm from Ohio and the bungles and brownies just never appealed to me.  I go to Cowboys games and I even moved to Mosquite (basically Dallas) I have since moved back to Ohio but I will always be a Cowboys fan.  (now if we can just do something about the Mav's)

I couldn't agree more!!! Everyone wanted to bench Eli after that Vikings game now he is one of the top QB's in the game??? He is going to revert back to what he is an avg NFL QB.  He has been avg and will be avg.  I'm not worried at all and if Strahan retire we will dominate that team as always.  How bout Dem Cowboys!!! (what do we think about Romo and the PGA tour?)
