The Cowboys have a chance right now to take the Patriots approach.

Stockpile young talent, and replace the vets when they ask for too much money. Bring in salary cap caualties for veteran leadership.

The team concept. Stockpile draft picks to keep the talent pool fresh. Its just a thought because the salary cap is a ***.

I would Like to win a Super Bowl, before getting rid of talented vets. Isn 't that what the cheators did, win 1st then depose of the money hungry vets.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, they've won 3 SB's in the last 5 or 6 years and we haven't won a playoff game in 11 years.

    Let's win one this season.

    Go Boys!

I think we should take a greater-than-Patriots approach and actually have two real elite WR on the team.

Still waiting to see any sports team I'm a fan of win a championship. Still waiting. STILL WAITING.

I disagree. I think the cap sucks rocks. We haven't made much noise since it's inception.

    THANK YOU!!! Yes

if the salary cap goes it will turn out just like baseball, the reason I like the nfl is because every team has a chance at the SB each year.

     Agreed!

You have to have a cap in place. Baseball is a complete joke without a cap. You have individual players that make more than WHOLE TEAM payrolls. That is no way to be competetive or really entertaining, at least to me.

"All right now, I'm comin' out. Any man I see out there, I'm gonna kill him. Any sumbitch takes a shot at me, I'm not only gonna kill him, but I'm gonna kill his wife. All his friends. Burn his damn house down."

T-New is the guy that will kill the cap pretty soon.  If Pacman works out and Jenkins shows the promise of a shut down corner I think I would franchise T-New and keep him for a year or even trade him like Green Bay did Corey Williams this past year.  Might as well get something for him if we really can't afford to sign him to a long term deal.  Ware will get one of the richest defensive contracts in NFL history (as he should)..... Canty, Hamlin, Barber, TO, and T-New.......can't afford them all.

And don't forget Scandrick. I think franchising T-New and giving these guys some time might be the way to go?
