Gangs of New York. The real gangs that were around in the 19th century, not these silly little Italians or Latinos who try to make up for their lack of contribution to society by pretending to be cool.

Obviously you've never been far from Texas.

I've probably more well-travelled than most of the people on this site. What does that have to do with what I said?

Just humorous how sheltered and ignorant the youth of today are. Silly "little" Latino gangs? Maybe you find them funny from where you're sitting. But we're not laughing up here.

Haha, ok. Sorry, but anyone who bands together under some trite artificial banner, sells drugs, commits acts of violence, and yet tries to act all bad-ace about it...I find those people to be silly, small, and petty, or at least that's how I would describe the kinds of lives they lead. If you think it's "ignorant" or "sheltered" of me to think that, then that is quite sad for you.

However, this is a plague that involves more than Italians and Latinos.  This is a world wide epidemic that involves every race...

Of course...but we're not having a discussion on society and crime - I'm talking about all the "classic" gangster movies I've seen, which primarily focus on Italian or Hispanic gangs...geez guys, sometimes I get the feeling that if I wrote a post that said only one word, the name of some ethnicity, that you all would get upset.

Do you have to get the last word...

HEHE!! He was a bit of a hot-head wasn't he. Michael was more successful (and lived longer) being cold and calculating. That was one of the best mob movies we've ever had though. A real classic.

I remember the first time I saw #1 and seeing Sonny storm off....I knew it then that something was up.  Oh well the whole series was about Michael anyway.    Too many classic scenes on those 3 movies to list just a few.  .
