    Adam Stenavich

Adam Stenavich (born March 11, 1983) is an offensive lineman for Team Michigan.

     College career

Stenavich took over as starting left tackle at Michigan his sophomore year and kept the spot through his senior year. He was named to the All Big Ten first team in 2004 and the All Big Ten second team in 2005.

     Professional career

After completing his career at the University of Michigan, Stenavich was not selected in the 2006 NFL Draft, but signed within hours of the draft's end with the Carolina Panthers. Stenavich was cut in training camp, but was signed to the Green Bay Packers practice squad during the 2006-2007 season. He re-signed with the Packers as a reserve/future free agent, Jan. 1, 2007. The Packers designated Stenavich eligible for play in NFL Europe in 2007 and he was drafted in the first round by the Amsterdam Admirals. As of January 23, 2008 Adam Stenavich is no longer listed as a member of the Green Bay Packers' practice squad. On January 26, 2008, he was drafted by Team Michigan in the 2008 AAFL Draft

    Re: Adam Stenavich

I am a U of M alum, who has gone to Michigan games for years.  I had the misfortune of watching Stenavich "block" for Michigans QB's and running backs for a few years.  The guy is a total turnstile.

Could have been a result of the bad coaching that has plagued Michigan in Lloyd's last few years, but I thought Stenavich was flat out horrible in Ann Arbor.  How he made first team all Big Ten is still a mystery.  If Dallas picked him up I would be severely disappointed, unless he got a whole lot better since he played for the Maize and Blue.

The Cowboys added some depth to the offensive line on Wednesday, signing offensive tackle Cory Lekkerkerker and guard Adam Stenavich. Lekkerkerker has played in 26 games the past two years, with the Chargers and Dolphins. Stenavich was on the Packers practice squad in 2006 but out of football last year. He originally joined the Panthers after the draft in 2006, but eventually went to Green Bay after being cut by Carolina. Stenavich played in the final season of NFL Europa, spending the 2007 summer with the Amsterdam Admirals.
