Issiac Holt #30 -- part of the Herschel Walker trade. I don't know if anyone remembers this, but in 1990 the Cowboys were falling to the Bucs. Vinny Testaverde backed up and threw a pass to the flat that was intercepted and returned for a TD by Holt. I say this play was the one that inspired the entire emergence of the Cowboys in the early 90s. It seemed like that was the spark that ignited the dynasty and they played like they BELIEVED they could win from then on.
Rember? Heck yeah i remember. I was at that game. I remember the Bucs taking the lead and getting the ball back and thinking they don't come back very well. Ike took care of that for me. I remember how gracious the Buc fans were by not throwing solid things at me, they threw like paper wads, crunched up styrofome cups and such instead of the usual beer bottles or rocks.
Tony (Thrill) Hill #80 -- not really an obscure player, but often overshadowed by Drew Pearson and Butch Johnson. Hill caught many great passes including one in that huge comeback against the Redskins at RFK in the 80s.
It's still the greatest Cowboy catch i've ever seen, how he reached out and snagged it one handed, and never broke stride. if i remember correctly, it was the opening monday night, we were down 28-3 at half time and came back to win 31-28.
Gonna pass on Teauge, got a little different opinion of the whole star thing. Some of us think respect is learned and can't tell fact from opinion.
Don't care if they tape us, they can know what we're gonna do, they won't be able to stop it.
