Way to go Romo and Jerry. When will we win our 1st playoff game? Been kinda like kissing ur sister the last couple of post seasons . Bring on the pole dancers!!!

Ah, back to that are we? We haven't heard much about "he who is suspended" since we posted 90 pages on him before we had him. I found one of Jones' comments in the piece today really interesting. When asked about Glenn, he was pretty non-commital and seems to be still working on a vet WR while hoping we have him back. I think the chances of him playing all season are very slim.
I hope Glenn plays but Jerry needs to keep working on getting a veteran just for insurance.

I have been going crazy trying to figure out who we can pick up as a veteran WR, with speed, that will be a complement to T.O. and the offense. I came up with two, but one will probably be suspended soon. Throw some ideas out there.

    1. Koren Robinson - Fast but not Terry Glenn Fast.
    2. Chris Henry - He is quick, but is he as fast as Ocho Cinco? He will probably be suspended soon.

Jones gave an emphatic NO to Henry yesterday. We're low on ankle monitors. What in the hell happened to the players just doing drugs? Life was so much simpler then.
Hey, if we could find a fast veteran reciever who likes a little blow now again... then we might be able to start talking a playoff win.

That article about Glenn was or seemed to me a little disconcerting. The write wrote, "Jones talked about acquiring someone else, but has spent his time and money plugging other holes. He's filled most, leaving this to the fingers-crossed belief that Glenn can pick up where he left off."

I really do not like to hear talk about hope. The writer even went on to say that in Glenns 12 years, he has only plaid a 16 game season twice. and he has missed 2 complete seasons due to injury. I think if terry is 100%, we definately stand a chance this season... but, I have a strong feeling, from what we have seen this past season... up till now, that it is not going to happen. And, we need a reciever.

When Jerry gets defenseive about the position or the questions of his choices so far... you know thats not good.

I believe there is something up with Glenn's knee.  The comments being made are just too vague and are mostly hollow with information. Much like a politician who talks on a subject but never really says anything.  I wonder if Jerry is not being forthcoming with more information regarding just where Glenn's rehab is because he doesn't want send any signs to other teams or tip off some of those remaining veteran WR that there may be a need for one of them in Dallas.

I am not really concerned with the WR we have going into the season but the speed of Glenn sure would be nice whether on the outside or from the slot formation.  I guess time will tell.  If he doesn't play in any of the preseason games that will be a good indicator that his availability for the season is certainly in question.

I read today from different accounts that Glenn and his knee looked good on the field. So with so many different reports we will have to wait and see in the pre-season games, or even the regular season. You know how teams try to protect players.

Glenn's knee is 50/50 at best.  And i agree that we aren't gonna know a thing until the pads go on and football moves are done.

But man, i hope he can play.

Don't care if they tape us, they can know what we're gonna do, they won't be able to stop it.

50/50...50/50....I keep hearing these terms...this is a lamens way of telling you they don't know!!!If you hear someone say 50/50 on the streets or a doc comes to you and says she'es got a 50/50 chance of living..."YOUR NOT MAKING ANY PLANS!!!"And this is supposed to be about T.New and the Barbarian...I love that they locked up Newman...but i think we gave a little too much, too early for Marion."45 mil???"I do love him,but...Never been a starter and had to really be the man.I'll be honest my problem is with the playoff game...People have disagreed with me but on 2 runs if he had more speed we woulld have scored!!!Now people also say he ran outta gas in the second half....Hhhmmm...I have a problem with a RB who is a back-up all year and then gets his 1st start and runs outta gas a the latter stages of the game!!!I STILL LOVE HIM BUT IF GOT MCFADDEN WE WOULDNT BE HAVING THIS CONVERSATION!!!,PERIOD!!!Good deal, just a little too much too soon!!!

Well, it's what we've been hearing about Marion the whole time, can he be the man?  I don't know, i kinda liked the way they did it when he didn't start. but,  I've been wrong so many times i can't even speculate on what he will be.  McFadden, just wasn't in the cards.  I like most, wanted Mendenhal, but that card wasn't delt to us either.  I think Felix could be something, but i just don't know.  there are a lot of people a lot smater than me that say he's gonna fit great.  So, i'm just gonna be happy with what we have until i see evidence otherwise, at which time i will unload like the rest of you. I just can't do it in May.

I can see a possibility of a dual back system with MBIII taking the lead role and FJones being the fast quick back like the departed Jones. I only worry if MBIII can take the continual pounding his style of running invites and carry the main load.  Newman's deal just cinched a leader in our secondary being there until his retirement.  Now if only RWilliams returns to form, and I think he will, and Hamlin quits acting like he is the Modern day Woodson and gets his buns back on the field We should have the most solid secondary that has been on the field in a long time.
