    New stadium allocation trades

In lieu of the allocations, I figure it may be a good idea to start a thread where individuals may post their desire to seek trades from others, should they choose to do so.

For example, I read that member geofb was seeking to trade his initial allocation in section 439, row 15 to the non PSLs.  Perhaps there is someone out there who will be allocated in the non PSLs but would rather be located elsewhere (perhaps the sidelines or the lower endzones) and would be more than willing to trade for geofb's PSL.  Therefore, a trade can occur and each party would be happy.

Like geofb, some may look to move to the non PSL seating, while others may look to move lower in the bowl from their initial allocation.  Some may not like thier spot and want to relocate elsewhere while others may not be able to afford $5000 PSLs and may want to move to a $4000 or $2000 PSL, etc etc.   For those reasons this thread may be beneficial for anyone interested in seeking a trade.  Who knows, this thread may not even be utilized, but I thought I'd try to help connect fellow Cowboys fans with the opportunity to connect with one another and move around the new stadium accordingly...the seat(s) you choose will essentially be yours for 30 years (unless you sell it at some point).  Might as well make the best of it.  Hopefully you can use this thread to your advantage.

Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for.  Decisions will have to be made by July 11th if you are going to keep your initial allocation.  May everyone take the opportunity to connect with one another and trade if interested in doing so.

I am afraid that people with the non-PSLs are going to hold onto those seats.  I feel like I have been punished for being a season ticket holder long enough to have pretty decent seats in the old stadium, because those have translated into expensive PSL's in the new one.  It's all the Johnny-Come-Lately's with the poor seats in the old stadium that have been offered the best deals in the new one.

Well, you can always decline your initial allocation and move to a non-PSL.  It may not be in the first couple of rows as those who receive initial allocations in the non-PSLs, but atleast you won't have a PSL to pay.

All the same, there may be some who do not want to sit in the endzone and may want to move to lower bowl or in the sidelines.  Perhaps they may be able to afford atleast $2000 PSLs or more and will be glad to trade for their allocated non-PSL seats.  You never know.

Anyone looking to trade, post your interests here.  You never know who may take you up on your allocation.

That's not exactly what my rep told me....  she said I could do that if there were any left.  But (according to her) most of the non-PSL's have already been allocated so I am not optimistic I will be able to get any,

That honestly sounds like a scare tactic for you to take your allocation if you ask me.  Keep in mind these reps work off of commission trying to sell you on taking your initial allocation and filling the PSL seats in the stadium.  Declining your allocated PSLs and waiting for non-PSLs only ends up providing the Cowboys with less money than what they'd expect to make than if you were to buy your initial allocated PSLs as they hope everyone will do (who was allocated PSL seating).  Yes, they'll still make money off of your season ticket invoice if you do go non-PSL, but not as much as they'd hope if you would have stuck to the plan and purchased your initial allocation.  That is your reps job...to get you to stick to the plan.  It sounds as if she realizes your intentions on moving to non-PSL, and by you doing that, what value could she (and the Cowboys) gain from you forsaking your allocation?   Of course she is going to turn you off from declining those allocations as much as possible by scaring you into believing that you'll be sorry if you do.  I personally believe you'll be able to obtain a non-PSL.  Yes, it may not be row 1 or the best seat in the house, but you won't be shut out entirely.  Don't fall for that tactic the rep is trying to pull.

May I ask how much you paid?

$300.00. A steal in all honesty if you ask me for front row seats.

On a side note... It is rediculous what some people are asking for for their PSL rights...

$300.00 seems like a very good deal.  I have seen some outragous prices for PSL on ebay.
