I don't know the reason, but every board I visit, firefox automatically does a spell check, and has the red line under any word I misspell. But, it doesn't do it on these forums, is there any way to spell check before you make a post?

Yes.  You'll have to install IeSpell on your computer once you click the ABC icon.  That's the spell checking software that IE 7 is using and that's all this forums editor is using as well.
