    Re: Incredible Hulk

Saw it last Friday and its way better than the other Hulk movie.  Edward Norton did a great job.  Many characters from the Hulk comics make an appearance.  You have to look out for it.  I won't mention whom but keep an eye out.

I won't pay to see the movie at the theater.  I'll probably buy the DVD (through connections Embarrassed).

Captain America would be Johnny Depp and Thor would be Brad Pitt.

I could see Brad Pitt as Thor actually but Johnny Depp? I'm not so sure he just isn't built the right way.

How bout Matt Damon or Mark Wahlberg wow those sound terrible too lol

No dude, like I said a couple posts ago, Titan from American Gladiators should be Captain America. Brad Pitt as Thor, I could see that. The guy from the movie 300 maybe could do it too.

Cena would make a good Captain America.  I'm not sure who would be Thor but it would have to be someone who is muscular.  The long blonde hair could be fake but the muscles can't.

Arnold in his younger days would have been a great Thor.

I still see Brad Pitt as the best option for Thor I think he could pull off the long hair and beard look

    Re: Incredible Hulk

I just read that Edward Norton had a significant part in writing the screenplay but marvel scrapped a huge part of it...and instead that will be released in the extended version on dvd.  Here is an article to read about the matter.  http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/06/14/the-truth-about-edward-norton-vs-marvel/

Edward Norton originally signed on to play Banner provided Marvel would use his re-write of the script.  Obviously Marvel sort of screwed him over in the end.  I'd be pretty upset to if most of my work ended up in the cutting room floor.

Storyline has to go to the first HULK movie but action and character development has to go to the second one since he actually got to fight another gamma individual.

Yeah I was thinking about the Ultimate version not the old school one I don't think that old school look would work in a movie

Someone suggested to me the reason why the Hulk (in this second movie) was afraid of the thunder (during the storms) could have been a possible reference to Thor fighting him at some point during that five year span we're unaware of.  Never thought of it that way.

Jackson, etc, but ive heard 2 different things about Edward Norton. i heard one he isnt under contract to do any of the Hulk sequels OR the Avengers but then ive heard he signed a contract saying he do them. has anyone heard anything? i cant see anyone else playing Bruce Banner.

    Re: Incredible Hulk

There's an article I provided in this thread a page or two back about Edward Norton being upset that half of his rewrite (version of the script) was not edited in the final film.  It became a war between him and Marvel on the issue and because of that, more than likely he probably won't sign on to play Bruce Banner again since they essentially screwed him over despite telling him otherwise.  If you read the article you'll be more enlightened as to what happened.  Unless Edward Norton gets over it and they pay him alot of money to return, I don't foresee him willing to return after they lied to him about his part on creative control during the rewrites and upon film release.
