    Pacman's Partial Reinstatement:

Adam "Pacman" Jones can finally join his Cowboys teammates here at Valley Ranch. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has granted limited reinstatement to Jones, who has been suspended since April 2007 for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

Jones can practice and work out with his teammates, but no announcement has been made about fully lifting his suspension for the 2008 season. According to a statement released by the Cowboys, Goodell plans to make a decision before Sept. 1.

What are your thoughts on Jones' partial reinstatement?

This is good now he has something to do and look foreward to = less chances to mess up again! He can get in better shape now and learn the Cowboys system Can't wait to see our secondary go over the top and dominate this year

    this good for two reasons.

first it allows adam to get in and really try and learn the system. hopefully he can get some friends around here and really find himself a niche in the team.

second it still keeps him on a short leash. if u were to let him completely clean it would be like taking the leash off of a hungry dog, hes gona go for the first thing he sees. this keeps his leash short but also allows him to inegrate into the team. i think this is a very good move by goodell

Glad to see him getting started and I think being partially re-instated is a good thing because it should keep Pac-man working to get the "full" pardon he is looking for. Plus, he is now working to get into football shape!

2008 is the year of the Cowboys!

I'm happier than a munkey eatin nanners right now. Only thing better would be full reinstatement. Our secondary and return teans are improved when that happens.Goodell would not have done this if full reinstatement was not next. He is just milkin it

Now, all we need is Hamlin to join the rest of his teammates before training camp, and then the cast of 'Hard Knocks' is that much closer to being completed.

    Re: Pacman's Partial Reinstatement:

This is a great sign. Goodell wouldn't be doing this if he wasn't going to re-instate him. Goodell is giving him a chance to see how he does. If he stays out of trouble and keeps up his counseling, then Goodell will re-instate him. If he Fs UP....He gone. Let's all just hope that Adam takes full advantage of this opportunity.....errr last chance. Go Packman!!!! Welcome to the family.

Man we just might have the best defense and special teams this year...

Should give our talented offense a lot of chances at scoring...

If we can play on all cyclinders this year, the Cowboys will be the best team in the NFL

    Re: Pacman's Partial Reinstatement:

This is a great move by the commisioner and the NFL because this will help keep Pacman out of trouble since he will be practicing with his new teamates and learning the defense and offense. He will be to preoccupied to get in trouble hopefully and I think that is how the NFL sees it too! There is no way Jerry Jones was going to get pacman without some assurances from the comish that pacman would not be reinstated. Jerry is very influential in the NFL!

    Re: Pacman's Partial Reinstatement:

At first I thought to myself "why didn't he just fully reinstate him", but after reading into the reasoning and logic behind it, I too believe it is clever.  It still provides the NFL with media coverage throughout the off season, give extra attention to the Cowboys, and provides Pacman with a chance to redeem himself, turning him into a positive influencial story of redemption,  and in doing all this, it  makes Goodell look like a genius, because if Pacman is reinstated, Goodell receives praise for punishing him and reforming him (setting him as the example), and if Pacman flubs up, Goodell is a genius for not fully reinstating him, ultimately falling back on "I knew something wasn't right about that kid" type mentality.

Either way, I am glad Pacman is able to be productive thus far.  It is better than sitting at home doing nothing while the team is working hard for the 2008 season.

Fantastic news ! Adam really needs to get some training, learning defensive schemes, gelling with his new team-mates.. knock some of that rust off.

Have very high hopes he will be re-instated and ready to rock at the start of the season after this news.

If Pacman Jones can pick off Eli Manning at least once this year, and/or sack him.  That'd make the trade well worth it LOL!!
