63 days till our 1st preseason game, Yeah Baaaaaaaaaby !!

Screw that, when the games count I'll get cited. Until then, it's pretend football. I realize I usually wait until camp to begin on my tirade on preseason games and the ridiculous prices for just bad football played for three quarters by people who will be asking you if you want fries with that by September, but since you started it, I'm thinking it's ok. If they would reduce it to 2 and the extend the regular season to 18, I'd shut up and renew my season tickets, but they won't the greedy male appendages. (Like the way I curved that one right past the censor?) I've been forced to shell out a lot of coin to sit in miserable heat to watch players, half of which will not even be in the league by the following Tuesday. They won't change it because they have to share more of that money in those last two preseason games and would rather put a bad product on the field and fatten their coffers so Kraft can buy more of those stupid blue shirts with white collars and Al Davis, Amrica's only walking cadaver, can buy another black jumpsuit. I heard they buryed him but the grave rejected him, so he's still around to irritate me more than an Oprah/Rachel Ray feud.

It's not that the preseason games are great! However you do get to see guys (that haven't solidified a position on the team yet) play their hearts out so we can see what we have. See it helps me get excited about the regular season.

Can't argue that but when I count up the $ they've extorted out of me in order to keep my season tickets, I get mean. I'm done with that, since the fees are ridiculous, so I will be ok watching our youngsters and then flipping over to reruns of the Munsters. That ugly kid with a beard could outplay most of those second halfers.

I was always against Jerry Jones being both the owner and GM of his own team because he dictates too many decisions. However, what I still often overlook is he's a huge fan of football. Maybe being GM is a good idea, maybe not, but we are finally seeing Jerry's persistence paying off in dividends. The Jimmy Johnson thing still hurts but I've had a decade to cool down and now I'm feeling a Superbowl ring right around the corner. Gobble 'em up Pacman!

I read on Yahoo last week that one of the ideas owners are kicking around for the new CBA is to eliminate one of the preseason games and add one to the regular season.  That would be great, because preseason is just so boring.  If I wanted to watch bad footbal I'd watch the arena leauge of the CFL.

Of the topic I just read the Lorenzo Neil is available, like myself many of you have expressed concerns about our run blocking, we might could use a guy like  that to help the development of our young fullback, as well as add leadership, and a positive influence in the locker room.

I am not a Jerry Jones fan but he deserves credit for the best off season since he bought the team. And Johnson snubbed him and publicly embarrassed him and he retaliated with 500 coaches could coach this team and then turned around and proved it with that gun totin' Switzer, which shoulda backed into two rings, the putz. That ticks me off more than Johnson. We shoulda had 4-in-a-row. No one would have touched that record and now those lyin' cheatin' harbourwhores have tied our record.
