Original81hof:Of the topic I just read the Lorenzo Neil is available, like myself many of you have expressed concerns about our run blocking, we might could use a guy like that to help the development of our young fullback, as well as add leadership, and a positive influence in the locker room.
Wonder why he's available, how old is he? Is AARP going to hit the league with a discrimination suit? Seriously, he has been solid for a long long time, wonder what he has left and who they replaced him with?
The road to the Superbowl is full of potholes, speed traps and road rage.

Supposedly he is still in outstanding shape, and is desperate to get that SB ring so he may sign with someone for peanuts. He is also recovering from a broken leg, the playoff game against the Cheatriots was his first game back. Norv said he didn't fit in their system that he prefers H backs that and the injury is why the cut him. I am not saying he could be an every down guy, but he maybe worth a look. I am sure Wade knows him pretty well, wonder if they are interested at all.

I wonder if picking him up would not allow for D Anderson to develop and come into his own... Anderson had done a great job prior to his injury and maybe a veteran coming in would stop that progress. Not saying it would be wrong, just don't know. He (Neil) is a good player and from what I have read/heard a good guy.

Fan since 1975:
It's not that the preseason games are great! However you do get to see guys (that haven't solidified a position on the team yet) play their hearts out so we can see what we have. See it helps me get excited about the regular season.
I agree, i like to watch (but not in the heat) those bad 3rd and 4th qtrs, to watch guy compete for a job either on the 53 or the practice squad. Cause in a week, they might be back to selling inusrance or whatever their day job is.
Don't care if they tape us, they can know what we're gonna do, they won't be able to stop it. csf

well they brought in ronnie cruz from k-city , he blocked for LJ the past 2 or 3 years he's been in the league 4 years now , maybe he can shed some experience onto D. Anderson , but i hionestly dont think they are going carry 2 fb's on the 53 man roster , not enough spots to go around when your looking at all the CB's and Wr's they will probally have to carry..... if they want these guys on the team then they will have to go on the 53 man roster i doubt very much if any of them would clear waivers , since WR's & CB's are such high demand position's......Ogelsby possibly because of his injury / surgery this off season , but all accounts thus far is he is healthy and ready to go...........
Buckle up and Hang on - It's gonna be a great ride

That is just too funny. ... Oh...sensing an 80's flashback.

Re: Pacman's Partial Reinstatement:
According to the latest statistic taken out of SI..60% of the people asked...predicted Pacman will not make it thru
a complete season with the Cowboy before his next ran in with legal matter and or police actions against him. It is to be
seen and I hope that we football fans in/out of the Cowboys circle will be at least 60% wrong. What every... I personnel believe
he will be find and if he is anywhere close to being smart ....I hope he will take this very large opportunity and line himself up
with his team mates and if he is reallly a caring person....then he will do the famous expression we have at the Cowboys...if you
are going to do the "Talk ...the..Talk.. then you will have to do ´..the walk...the walk...Amen!!

I'd be willing to bet my last dollar that Prime Time and The Playmaker have him going to church on a regular basis.. Just got a feeling that Pacman will make it and retire in about 10 years with a big blue star on his helmet

that right there is the best line i think i have seen yet and could not agree more with it...... Adam is going to have an amazing career as a Cowboy , he will be rewarded for his life changing efforts and on field accomplishments and make the most as the modern day version of Prime-Time.........
Buckle up and Hang on - It's gonna be a great ride
