Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he’s optimistic the situation will be resolved and Glenn will return to practice. Do you think Glenn eventually will agree to the proposal and make a significant contribution to the offense? Or are you concerned his knee won't hold up?

I feel that Glenn will return after signing the "split contract" and will have a very productive year. Jerry Jones has expressed optimism for Glenn's return and Jerry is almost always right in these things. I admit I'm a little fearful of his knee going out before seasons end.

I'm hoping he signs the waiver and tries to play. If his knee holds up his speed can make a great contribution to our offense

I just don't see him lasting a full season? Maybe used sparingly as the 3rd or 4th WR, but you can't expect him to be the #2 guy and remain healthy! At this point I'm hoping he signs the injury settlement and proves me wrong. There aren't too many other alternatives and Crayton is better suited to be the 3rd WR!!

How could we possibly know the answer to this question? Haven't we all been mulling the same mystery since last August? Truth be told, I'm tired of hearing about him.

Damn shame too. He could've added so much more to an already elite offense. And who knows how much better would've been with T.G. in 07.

I can't see old Terry having any serious impact on the offense.  I wouldn't put a few big plays past him, but not as a consistent #2.  He's old, his knee's a big question mark, and who knows when the last time he was able to get some consistent timed routes in with Romo.  It's a pity, I love the guy, but I just don't see him playing a big role this season.  Let's hope Austin learns how to catch or Stanbach can get the WR position down, because we all know Crayton does not have the consistency to be more than a #3 guy.

1. if he is smart about this he will sign ......... for him its a win win ,  play all year get the full paycheck , get hurt and get a half a million to sit on IR and still collect a RING......... HOPEFULLY

2. he will have a limited impact this year , i do not see him being anything other then the #3 or 4 WR ,  only seeing occasional playing time during the regualr season.....

3. if he stays healthy enough to make it through the reg, season , which i think the coach's will make dang sure of , then he MIGHT have an impact in the playoffs , its a BIG MIGHT though....

4. regardless of the season outcome ,  TG is done after this year ,  maybe not in the NFL but certainly here in BIG D......

Well said, I think its obvious that he won't contribute this year - thats why Jerry wants him to sign the new contract.

I believe he will be able to pass the physical,what worries me is about 5 or 6 games into the season of playing most of the downs will he be able to go full speed....when he can go full speed he is a big time threat...the speed, quickness and the hands are awesome...if he can go all out then i think we should use him for a half or third of a game to save him for the playoffs...this is his last hurrah so lets get him a ring...i really see Hurd stepping it up this year..

I, like everyone else, hope so. I just don't know. The knee problems are a tricky area. Some can come back like it's nothing. Others are just a shadow of what they used to be once they come back.

that's why i don't thnik he will play alot of downs through the regular season ,  save him for the big finish so he can retire on top , a champion

I really think Terry Glenn sitting out of OTA's is actually helpful; the less reps he takes in practice, the longer he should be healthier in the regular season. I think Glenn should just settle up and play; if he's as healthy as he thinks he is, then there shouldn't be any reason not to sign the split contract.  He'll go on and have a completely healthy and productive season and earn his total base salary of $1.74 million right? He shouldn't have anything to worry about.
