first time poster after about 17 months of waiting to get on.  Huge Cowboys fan from Rochester, NY and I despise the giants and every other team in the league.  High hopes this year.

Wow.........my son has been waiting about 6 weeks and is going crazy! He will hate when I tell him this.

Is this something new - all this waiting - I mean I signed on in Aug 06' and I think I got an answer the same day or maybe the next day. I know I didn't have to wait weeks.

I signed on in August, 07 and was on in a few minutes. I don't know what it is, but my son is crying in Florida. He wants on because he doesn't get much about the Boys there.

I was in seconds signed up and logged in seems strange to me

I signed on back in Oct 2006.  You'd think that I would have been more productive with my history considering how long I've been a member but I haven't really been active on here much until recently.  Prior to this time, family and military stuff consumed my time, thus making it a tad more difficult to come on here as often as I am now.  No worries though, I'm working on being more productive these days. 

 Wow! That's a long time to wait. I think I signed up in october and got right on.. hmm. Welcome, I haven't been here in months. I just read stories and watch about the 'boys online.

My approval was within seconds as well. 17 months is a hell of a long time to wait to start posting. A cousin of mine also registered over 3 months ago and has not gotten approved yet. Mods, are we inadvertanly preventing Cowboy Nation in this Forum to grow stronger than it is?

I believe I am still the newest member here, so I thought I would chime in on this. I came across the forum a few weeks ago, lurked for a bit, then signed up. I was approved and posting very quickly. I don't remember the exact elapsed time, but it was evidently short enough that I don't remember it being an issue. I wouldn't have had the patience for 6 weeks and after 17 months, I would have forgotten about it long, long ago. Glad you waited it out, Speed, and I hope your son gets on soon, GrizzlyBear!
