Hey BigDaddy, if you are in or near Woodville, you are in some pretty country. I spent the first 16 years of my life in Jacksonville and Rusk, moved to Lufkin in 1976. I wouldn't trade my 48 years in this country for another 48 years anywhere else!

funny about this thread, I just watched Rudy last night.  Great movie, though Sean Astin will probably never have a better role in anything else.  Fat Hobbit?  No.  Goonies?  Maybe, but not as good as Rudy.

I am not from Texas, but I remember the WCCW where the VonErics faught the freebirds, when I was like 8 to 10 I know this is off subject but its just terrible the way thing worked out for that faimly, Kevin is the only one left if im not mistaken, it makes for a good public service announcement to young kids though"Don't Do Drugs". they were still the best in those days I'll never forget them, by the way I do know wrestling is fake, but if my wife can watch soap operas, then so can I.

I watched a special the WWE did on the WCCW and it was really sad man Kevin is the only one still around and he talked alot about his brothers and you could just tell he still hurts over it, as would anyone the bad thing is they all committed suicide except for David who was the oldest, I think, and he died of some rare stomach thing, I would like to meet him in person, I think I should have been born in Texas, so many of my heros are from there, and one from my home state died there, Davey Crockett.
