    NO! Goosen, or Cabrerra

Goose's game has been off, I don't see him striking the ball well enough to win.   He is one of the finest fast-green putters in the game when he is on!

Cabrera was one that I almost mentioned.   He's got the length, and now he knows he can win one.    He also quit smoking soon after last year's Open, so he ought to be in somewhat better physical shape, which helps when you are walking about 8,000 yards per day, 5 or 6 days straight.

There are a lot of internationals that could compete.....Harrington, Rose, Immelman.   I'd say Adam Scott but I just don't know how he will handle to broken pinky on his right hand!   That's gotta hurt a LOT coming out of that rough!!

With the length of Bubby Watson and JB Holmes they could compete if they had a good short game week.   Boo Weekly is playing well, Jeff Quinney.

All in all though, I just feel like this one is Tiger's to win or lose.

I think he'll be 1 back after 36 holes.  lol       He was seriously faking a limp or trying to hide a limp as he walked off the 18th, did you see that?

No, I don't think he was faking that one.  He tweaked it earlier in the round.  Then he put on a putting clinic.

I don't play golf. I suck. And I only watch golf on tv, 4 times a year. And its to watch Tiger in the majors. The guy is unreal. It's over. He found his stroke.

    Aikman's gonna throw, deep slant. Caught, 35. HARPER'S BREAK'N AWAAAYYY! HARPER'S GOT MIDFIELD! HARPER'S GOT THE 40, HARPER'S GOT THE 30, HARPER'S GOT THE 20, HARPER'S GOT THE 10.......

No faking.  His swing is looking good.  His putter is going already.  It could be over all ready.  Man, I just had a feeling about Furyk this week.  We'll know for sure about both today!

I love Monday golf.......but an 18 hole playoff for the National Championship, David vs. Goliath......it doesn't get much better than this!    Big Smile

    WOW!

That had to rank up there with some of the best US Opens ever staged!

Rocco took Tiger down to the wire, and Tiger showed once again why he is likely the greatest player EVER to play the game!

    Just wow.

The guy is simply amazing.  His first tournament after a 6 week layoff from his surgery and he wins the US Open on a tough course.

New season, new players, new result!

Before I got the Golf Channel, and only had ESPN for sports news, I didn't know there were any golfers other than Tiger Woods.
