According to Espn's "First Take", All-Pro guard Larry Allen will be joining the list of possible inductees into the Hall of Fame in 2013, along with other notables Brett Favre and "Big Old" Michael Strahan.  I know I do, but does anyone else see Allen as a first time ballot entry?  Allen, not only the Cowboys most decorated lineman but one of the NFL's most decorated is certainly deserving.  I hope the selection committee has their thinking caps on for this one, even though it's a no-brainer.

First of all he's no longer a Cowboy and second of all if this is true it belongs in the Bling forum.  I'll let you choose between Rest of NFL and Classic Cowboys.

While he went to San Francisco for a couple years, he is like Emmitt. He will always be a Cowboy and he will be inducted into the HOF as a Cowboy

Farve, Sapp, Strahan, Allen, and maybe Jonathan Ogden - That could be one of the most impressive HOF classes in quite a while.

Read somewhere that Jerry is going to try to do what he did with Emmitt sign Allen to a 1 day contract and let him retire as a Cowboy

he deserves to be there.

He should retire a Cowboy.

Allen is one of the top 3 OL's of all time.  Whomever votes against his getting in should be publicly flayed and then exiled to Siberia.

Allen is easy a 1st ballot HOFer. Easy.

Like Emmitt, LA is a Dallas Cowboy. It shouldn't matter if he hasn't singed the one day contract with the Cowboys yet, it my eyes he's a Dallas Cowboy.

 So that's why he ran off to another team just because they offered him more once he was no longer the player he used to be.  So loyal to Dallas and its fans.  I don't like Allen as much as most because we pretty much sucked while he was here.

I think your thinking of Torrin Tucker or someone else, because Allen was one of the most dominating lineman in NFL history. Emmitt also left for more money, I didn't hate him for that, that's the business.

Emmitt left because we ran him out of town, Larry left to chase money, there is a difference.  I don't hate Allen, I just wasn't a fan before 1996 and it may not be his fault but he's one of the players that was on every single one of those teams so I associate him with those bad memories.
