With a swell of inductions in recent years (Troy Aikman, Rayfield Wright, Michael Irvin), the Cowboys now have eight former players owning busts in Canton, Ohio.

Emmitt Smith, the NFL's all-time leading rusher, undoubtedly is headed to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Which other Cowboys greats should be headed to Canton? Which current Cowboys stars have a chance to be inducted?

Only 8? That's ridiculous.

How about Charles Haley. That'a crime that the only man with 5 rings isn't in.

Emmitt and Allen are locks. Darren Woodson should get in.

I know alot of fans don't consider Haley a true Cowboy. Probably ones who never watched him play. But he was great and he was a Cowboy. He won 3 rings in Dallas.

Alot say Pearson too. But was he really great? I don't know.

Novacek was clutch.

I think it's sad that a few old timers aren't there. Bullet Bob Hayes and Drew Pearson would be nice. But I still plan on making the trip to Canton for Emmitts induction!

Haley, Larry Allen, to name a couple, Bob Hayes should already be there. I know he had problems after leaving the game, but the man made the passing game what it is today. I expect Demarcus Ware and with a little luck, Tony Romo may someday be there.

 

I believe Moose Johnston should get in at some point, IMO. One of the great fullbacks of the game and helped Emmitt secure his rushing title in Dallas.  Deserves a spot some day.

Bob Hays should already be in there. Charles Haley and Larry Allen need to be inducted for sure.Emmett is a lock no way he dosen't make it! Current players T.O. will make it to the H.O.F. Big Davis looks like a future H.O.F to me.And when Romo is done he will be in there

I know they have to be voted in but is that done by the fans or does the NFL pick who is going into the hall of fame? There are so many still from the 90 Cowboys Dynasty that aren't in.

another question do the rookies such as Felix Jones practice in the OTA's as well or do they have to wait until the cuts.

The sports writers vote for the HOF. I'm not sure if they are the only vote, but I know the fans don't vote at all. And yes, the rookies participate in OTAs as long as school is officially done. Don't quote me on any of this, but I'm 98% sure!! lol The NFL has a rule that rookies can't particpate until classes are finished? go figure..

What about Leon Lett or Nate Newton... jay novachek should at some point definately.
