It's got to be CB. Honorable mention would go to RB.
Also, our returners.

Re: Most improved position
Weapon_X:Runningback actually, we upgraded our speedy complement position, Barber will explode this year after making his first Pro Bowl and our offensive line will take the next step in another year of continuity and with the strict coaching of Hudson Houck.
I agree, we had Henry & Newman they were excellent, not a great duo but excellent. If they stay healthy they are top 10 in the league. Now while that has improved the Starters won't change at least not for the current future. My opinion is that RB has improved simply becuase we run a 2-Back System which essentially means that both backs basically will/should get relatively the same amount of carries. So I personally consider that a Co-Starter role. Look at last year as an example Barber was more of the feature back than Jones but Jones started. Anyways, although we haven't seem him against NFL caliber defenses, we can probably bet that hes a upgrade over Julius. Secondly I would say that PR/KR has to be a close second as we were almost non-existent in that area. We not only have players that can compete for the position, but we have players that are capable of succeeding in the position unlike the last few years.
Third I would say LB/CB I put these at a tie because Zach is a formidable improvement over Akin and a leader at that which may keep this defense fired up with his hustle and passion to win. The CBs as I stated before won't be changing at the starters so 70% of the time it will be the same. Our Nickle and Dime packages are for sure better.

Re: Most improved position
It takes more than a RB to change the running game, ask Barry Sanders. We have addressed the secondary, which was the most important immediate need.

Re: Most improved position
Without out a doubt, for me it is the Corner position. Pacman is going to do wonders for the secondary. Newman and Henry are still in the mix. The Cowboys have some really depth in that position.

Parrot all the above comments. Don't really disagree with any of them. LMFAO Cornerback for sure... RB gets the honerable mention to agree with above Sir.

Re: Most improved position
Obvious answer, so I won't restate it.
I'm wondering, do you guys think our return game might be the best we've ever had? I don't remember having this much talent in this area at any time in the past. And now they can't play keep away w/ the best return guy on KO's.
OK, Ellis is a bit above average.

Re: Most improved position
Everyones gonna say CB so I'm gonna tell you the second most improved position is RB. We got rid of a basically filler for 10-15 carries a game and got two explosive RBs that have big play potential every time they touch the ball.

Re: Most improved position
How did we get better at cornerback? By adding a non fully reinstated Pacman and a couple of rookies?
I'm not saying we didn't improve at cornerback, but I think we improved at linebacker the most. We replaced a nobody with the most productive linebacker in the NFL. Zach Thomas was a free agency steal, and I think he'll have way more of an impact than any of the rookies we brought in.
Linebacker, Runningback, and Cornerback (in that order).

To be fair, I think most of us are saying CB because it was our weakest position. Injuries to both our starters at one time or another. We have gone from weak in our depth to a very solid core of DB's. Our running game was pretty decent last year with MB (granted, JuJo didn't do much) carrying the load. J Reeves was constantly exploited on 3rd downs as was Roy W. With the addition of speedy ballhawking DB's and Campo, this has got to be where we are most improved, but only because we were so weak.

Pacman is top 10 if reinstated, and he will be if he behaves. Jenkins was projected as a top 15 pick, and slid for some reason. Scandy might turn out to be the steal of the draft. Ball has another year under his belt and sounds as if he will be solid. And our secondary got burned a lot last season, especially on 3rd and long. Our LB core was basically solid. That's why the most improvement was in the secondary. But, I have to give you credit, catty, for making an argument.
