    NBA Draft

well my only interest in the NBA draft is where the Lopez brothers wind up. Could the they wind up on the same team.

Probably not. And some say the Bulls will take Rose, others Beasly.

You?  Whats up with the height or should I say lack thereof. Is it the time of the big guard.

And the immortal words of our piasanos. "What the hell is going on around here." V.L.

We have to wait into the second round to see The Lowly Maversicks, no more Lil Avery. Owe money to the Nelsons. And some of them work there still. Or am I mistaken. The Potheads are coming out. hit home in the Big D.

And that first Texas team to come out is, the Wounded Bear Rockets. Hope the Lopez kid drops to them. They could use a big breath of fresh air, this kid could give to them. Or any team that picks him up. Soldier attitude. Worker in progression.

If not the sputtering Spurs will eat him up. Twin Towers de Javu. They cannot seem to win it back to back. Still the best team in the planet. But hunger, noviceness and injury will dictate an event.

But this hopeful reasoning will fall the wishes of old Texas men. No it is a smal M. We do not like to be called Sir, but we are.

well Brooks goes with the 10th pick to New Jersey, and his brother Robin goes to Phoenix with the 15th pick.

Could have been worse,  like LA Clippers. Shaq got a nice student, and help on the boards. and Robin gets to study under one of the best. Practicing against the "superman" everyday, what a country.

    for the record:

My Baskeball team was picked merely by the very fact of my favorite player. Alonzo Mourning. And yea good fortune kissed his life with the coming of the "Shaq" and the emergence of Dewayne. He has his ring. Should have retired and saved his body for his kids and family. He is a grown man, so I will let it go at that.

Now I am at a crossroads.

Brook or Robin Lopez. I mean I tried to root for Eduardo Najera when he was playing for the Mav's. Did not pan out, played well but well lets go on.

Now we have some more good hispanics playing and I would like to follow thier carrears. But this one inicident changed all of that. The New York Knicks number 1 pick this year. Danilo Gallinari from Italy. Yea, like forget about it. Would love very much for the Knicks to come back to the playoff picture so much. Just seems unnatural for them to not be in the mix.

I mean we had the old "Lakers & Celtics" right. Why not the Pistons & Knicks dueling it out.

Then the younger of the twins Robin second, he is playing with my idol "Superman".

And Brook third. I like him, but New Jersey. Somebody save him from this.

Yea, Walton did it for Portland. But he is no Walton. More like a Kevin Garnett with the Wolves. They will be better but so will the Clippers every year.

yes there is always hope, and sometimes they leave her at the hotel. with the baggage.

Not that your asking, but for the record.

As far as all or most of the other picks. Well the record speaks for itself. 10 freshman picked in the first round.

5 upperclassman. David won his first title with the Spurs after Tim Duncan finished four years of college.

I think it means something when someone else spent the time to prove he is coachable. And mature to handle success. But the Kids own the NCAA tourney. So why not the Draft.

As for the best quote of the day by the announcers.

That the Odem who got hurt last year, Portlands first round draft pick last year. Could have at a disadvantage over all of the incoming rookies this year. He can claim the trophy (rookie of the year)  by virtue of him sitting out hurt all of last year.
