I use it. I must have a lower tolerance than you guys. I take it, read for about 1/2 hour and I'm out like a light.

I havn't seen you in a while! It is nice that you are here!

Melatonin knocks me out, too.......but it takes about an hour.

LOL......Glad you asked. I have 3 sons and 2 of them have given me the girls I always wanted.......Kaleigh is 17 months, Amaya is 3 years old, and Robin Rain is 2 months. I am babysitting and the two babies are asleep. Amaya is helping me type.

Don't care if they tape us, they can know what we're gonna do, they won't be able to stop it.

Hey, Rowan. Are you going to stick around a little longer this time? Have any plans to go to Oxynard, CA and give Sam Hurd a few pointers this year? Wink

Re: Anyone here take melatonin supplements?

    QB 09 2 81:

I usually take 3-6 mcg around 9 p.m.   It usually helps me get to sleep by midnight to 1 a.m., although some nights are different than others.

I'm lucky if I get two hours of sleep without waking up.   I'm an extremely light sleeper, so for years I have used a fan to create "white noise" to help keep me from being awakened by every little noise.

When I was younger I would routinely lay in bed for hours on end, trying to get to sleep.  These days if I can't sleep I usually just get up and do something else until I start to feel drowsy enough to finally drift off.

The one thing I have noticed with Melatonin is that I either have more vivid dreams or at least seem to remember my dreams more often......I'm not sure which.

I have noticed that my insomnia has gotten less persistant as I have gotten older, but I still need a little something to help, and I won't take most OTC or prescription "sleep aids".....so Melatonin it is!

Be careful with that, they say it can cause blindness.

    LOL

Believe me, if there were any truth to that old wives tale I'd be using a seeing eye dog by now for sure!!

As it is I still have better than 20/20 vision, so I can say with confidence that there is absolutely no truth to that theory!   Wink
