I quit playing on XBOX live because I used to dominate to easily and wouldn't get any comp. Got boring. My usertag was Presto512.

Count me in.  My son got me into playing online.  We play:  HALO 3, COD 4, AND MADDEN QUITE A BIT.  The XBox is hooked up to my sons TV; 42" LCD so, we all get together and play online a lot. Game tag:  JACKJEEBS921

I actually hate playing madden because every opponent I play seems to run ONE play over and over and over then they wonder why they lose...

like this pat bandwagon fan before we lost to them did screens to randy moss all game long... it only takes a couple times for that crap to adjust.

I feel ya. I'm 99% sure he was running a WR Double Pass to Randy Moss but never opted to throw because Moss would suck at throwing. You just have to learn how to shut down those fools. Although I have to say that play works really great with the Cowboys if you run it with Stanback, because he has the highest passing accuracy/power ratings of any WR in Madden for obvious reasons.

Hey, at least we won't have to deal with those Michael Vick "cheesers" anymore. Dang that got annoying. 

I played a guy one time who ran that play almost every time, I beat him or was till he quit on me I'm no expert at Madden by any means but if I would have lost to that guy I probably would have broke my game.

Ya... it kinda beats you the first 2 plays... then after that you are like... hmm... tom brady... lining up... in the shotgun formation... for the... 20th time in a row... what play could this... be??

Yeah the guy refused to run anything else, I even was taking Ellis and running right to the spot where I could make the tackle right off and after 15 or so failed attempts he just quit, but I have read that some people can be unstoppable with that play I tried running it a few times in different situations and never had much luck with it.

 

I'm usually cool with playing people online...whether I'm beating them or they're beating me, I'm a good sport.  What I hate are those who straight up have no trash and talk trash all day long.  I'm not talking the playful talk trash, I can take that, but the flat out disrespectful kind of stuff that is nearly insulting.  Especially if I'm winning.  Then I end up getting a bad rating somehow on xbox live or they quit on me before the game is over.  Man I hate that.  Even if I am losing by 20 points, I don't quit on anyone and finish out the game.  But those who are completely disrespectful...I'm surely not going to waste my time over. 

For the most part people are cool, but every once and awhile you'll run into "that guy".  What's even worse is when their Eagles fans or something.

By the way, for those who like shooter games, I highly recommend Battlefield: Bad Company.  Just came out a few days ago...really fun game.  It has a great multiplayer option for xbox live like COD4 did, so if you want to play sometime, feel free to drop a line.

I really wish I could play those shooter games but, when I try after 5 to 10 minutes I get motion sickness and a bad headache, sucks to be me I would love to be able to play Halo 3 at my nieghbors house on his 360, I have to stick with Madden and the new Resident Evil, when it comes out.
