Let me tell you guys. I just got done playing the Madden 2009 RC (release candidate), I have one word. WOW!!!!!! This game is flawless! The weather and the way it affects the gameplay is just beyond anything I have ever seen in ANY sports game thus far. I played it on my Modded Xbox360, you know the one thats not connected to live, and its just SUPERB!!! I can't put downt he controller and I wish I could make love to it. If any of you guys know anything about torrents I suggest you get it!!! Run and get it! The end zone dances are kinda lanme but it does add some flavor to the game I guess, pretty funny... Anyone else tried it out and feel the same???

Wow...I love Madden. I hope I don't waste away my fall semester playing this, haha 

Hey RogerRomo, is the game play better than it was in Madden 2008? I got it for the ps3 after I had it for the ps2 as well, and I found that the gameplay on the ps3 was horrible. Also the commentating was only an announcer, no Madden or anything. Is the 2009 any better? 

Commentating is not on in the beta, couldnt tell ya. From what I have played the gameplay is quite a bit better. It really gets you into the game while still giving you lots of control. Thats the other issue, your guys are really responsive and SCARY SMART!!! Instance: You match owens up with a no name corner, he has no problem shaking them. Stick owens on a shutdown corner and its really realistic how they jockey for position! Way more so than 08. If you recall in 08 they would basically just stand there when they were done with a route... This one they dont do that, they come back to you or head for the end zone. Pretty impressive!!!

Actually there was commentating in the Beta, as a matter of fact it was in the Alpha. Chris Collinsworth does an ok job, better than 2008. You can run back missed field goals, custom end zone celebrations, the runnning has been completely revamped. Sounds fun.  I don't have a modded xbox nor do I download from torrents much, but I'll take your word for it and wait for it to come out next month.  From the looks of it it looks exciting.

As for commentary, I'm sure it will be the same as it has been previously, just some EA sports radio announcer broadcasting a general radio type commentary during the game.  As for as Chris Collinsworth, I never knew he did Madden 08.  I know that Hodge provided his voice over for the combine type thing for the star player or a rookie, but that is all I remember...I don't recall him providing commentary on any games.  THat would be great if that changed, but I doubt that will happen.  I guess we'll see in a month or so.

Ah man, you have gotten me even more excited for this game to come out, lol, I pre ordered Madden 09 and Head Coach 09, pretty good deal something like 90 for both.

Ive never played HC before but it seems like its going to be a good game.

I played a game a few days ago, I hadn't played in weeks because every time I play online people quit on me. So any how it was a fun game with me winning 27-24 in OT over the Bucs. The guy had an amazing record, but I was just toying with him and running him over with Barber. Madden is a great game indeed.
