    U.S. Men's Olympic Basketball Team

There is absolutely no excuse for not winning the gold medal with the team we have. I might even say there is no excuse for them to ever lose a single game.

Still waiting to see any sports team I'm a fan of win a championship. Still waiting. STILL WAITING.

You could say that for the past 5 years but we still haven't won. The U.S. has been putting stars on a team and they don't mesh well together. Last yr, and now this yr, It looks like there trying to adjust to international basketball b/c they havnen't won much lately. Will just have to wait and see. They need shooterssss

Since Kidd is the starting PG for the U.S. team i wouldn't say he sucks. I'd say right now he's one of the top PG's in the league...for how much longer idk, but right now hes one of the best.

To me there is much more going on in the Olympics than watching Bball.  I'd rather watch Track and field, swimming and Gymnastics (the womens team is going to be awesome this year!)  The last few times I've watched O bball (US team) it looks like an All Star game.  I don't mean that in a good way, either.

I wouldn't be surprised if we found a way to blow it Amare and Paul Pierce should be on this team KG too

It is one thing to play for your country, another to play cause you have been picked to play for your countrys team.

It is one thing to practice together as a team on a mission, another to compare the shoe contracts and jewelry.

The first team was a mission. The second to not allow a letdown. Now its show and showup.

The others play for pride and mission to beat the worlds best. USA just needs to show up, and win,,,right.

They looked pretty good in the qualifier but will probably need to be better for the gold. It's not the entire same unit, bust mostly. We have Chris Paul, Kobe, Chis Bosh, and Carlos Boozer instead of Billups, Mike Miller, Amare, and Tyson Chandler. I think they will be a good improvement. We still got Coach Shushepski. I just wanted to spell it how it sounds instead of Krzyweisyzikipiha. The international game has weird rules...we really need to hit our 3's and rebound when we do miss. And my favorite...DEFENSE!!!! I'm looking forward to watching...I'll probably check out a lot of the track and field too, not so much gymnastics - but I hope they get the gold too. I want as much gold as we can get, I don't care what event.

(I know it's spelled Krzyzewski by the way)

Alot of talent there, and better perimter shooters. Kobe and company should bring home the gold.

The US should win the gold this year and not lose a single game.. As for shooters, Redd is on the team. This guy can shoot, top 5 in the NBA. As for Pierce, Allen, etc, others for not being on the team, i'm pretty sure most of those guys were invited, but didn't want to play. And Kidd isn't as good as he use to be, but he's still up there, and the only gold medal winner on the roster, not to mention undefeated in international play.

What a difference makes playing as a team.

OK, Ellis is a bit above average.
