I have an extremely fast and stable connection, but all of last year during games and commercials the site (more specifically the forums) would be completely inaccessible. I believe this is the official forums so I know the Cowboys have the deniro to have the proper server. A lot of times I would come to check out the forum or post during commercials or a bad situation and lo and behold the website wouldn't load.

Any insight on if/will/has this happened?

Tons of people were having this problem and it only occured during or shortly after a game. It was worse on the more popular games. Sometimes there were no issues but it was rare. I remember after the Giants playoff game being the biggest example. They kept saying we shut our site down because we lost face. 

I had that same problem, and these forums do seem to be a little outdated compared to many other forums i've been on. I like the way the eagles forum is set up, and you can dish and bash back and forth without a topic being locked. It seems like on these forums if you call someone mean you get banned for 6 months. idk maybe commish goodell has something to do with it

Well then by all means, feel free use the eagirls forum

This is the home of the Dallas Cowboys, and we have too much class and dignity to allow families to be subjected to members attacking one another, or carrying on like juvenile fools, or a bunch of foul-mouthed goons. We have never allowed fans to bash and attack each other, and it's highly doubtful we ever will.

Nice try on dodging your ban. You were already garnering attention for getting abusive again in only a couple of days of being back here, but still, you probably would have lasted longer had you kept quiet about your ban dodging.

As Weapon noted, peeps...changes and upgrades are in the works and are imminent. That is all we can say at this juncture

I never had a problem until after our play-off loss and I just think the site was flooded, also since I didn't sleep at all that night at 2 in the morning I tried again and was able to get on.

We're hoping this year the flooding issues are a thing of the past.  As Weapon said, we'll let you guys know when we know but Derek and Rob are aware of the problems we've had this past season.  There's more to it than the eye can see.  All we ask is that you be patient.

I didn't notice a single solitary issue with the site after the Vagiants loss. Then again, I'm not sure that I checked the site for a few days.

Love to see the changes in store. Its funny that a few teams still don't have fan forums. We were talking about this when this one just got off the groudn and I'm pretty sure some team had just taken their's offline for the very reason that Starbuck mentioned.  It was either Detriot or New Orleans it seems. 

Oh, the good old days of mcpolo. He could really bring us all together through his idiocy.....I almost miss the guy. I wonder what he's been doing now that he's hit puberty?

I know I tried getting on here right after the playoff game and it was like the page was so overloaded I couldn't get on....it was just taking forever to load.  I experienced this a couple more times too, but after this past playoff loss was the worst. 

 You guys would need a room full over servers and a connection similar to a major major internet company inorder to handle all the traffic. There isn't just Cowboy fans that visit these forums there are also guest and rivals that browse and register. Although there is always room for improvement, the servers can only take so much at one time. Thats anywhere, most servers code in memory so it uses the servers memory for quick processing and stores it later. Vbulletin does this a lot, however if there is an extreme load on the server you will get error messages.
