Some teams just have so few fans....

Just cruising around a few team's official message boards and I notice that on one of their "Rest of the NFL" boards, the third post is from 6-27.  Their front main team page has about as many threads per page as we do, and they've got posts on threads that are about two weeks old as well.

What's really funny, they've been in the playoffs the past few years and still haven't generated enough interest to fuel a decent message board.

Now Cinci, Pittsburgh, and the rest of the NFC East, those boards move pretty damn quick.

This thread just makes me more appreciative of the fact that I am a Cowboy fan. I wouldn't know what to do if these boards were slow!

Sometimes it's not obvious where the most used forums for a given team are located. As an example, the Chargers.com group does OK ( http://forums.chargers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=140 ), but look at the comparative post/thread counts for them on The NFL Forum ( http://www.thenflforum.com/vbulletin/index.php ). After a few years it gets hard to figure why some groups are so quiet and some so active; the reasons tend to get obscured by time.

You know who the true fans are during this time of year.  It is when it comes to the football season that you'll end up getting all walks of life (good and bad) filling the board.  It makes it interesting, I'm sure.

for the most part your right, i come here everyday but rarely ever post. Most of the things i think are usually already posted.

Who cares if someone else already posted it. Writing down your opinion and debating with other members is more for you than it is for us...I come in here to read different opinions and form my own. i think i've become a better student of the game in the last year being on these boards then at any other point in my life. Wish I knew half as much about football when I played as I do now. I would've been a lot better. You learn a lot here and you teach some too. arguments break out but they're usually over stupid things such as whether Hurd should do more curl routes. But, in general, I like being on the boards and visiting with other boys fans and getting pumped for the next game/season.
