    Cowboys 2009 PSLs

Has anyone heard any leaked info from the Cowboys ticket office regarding PSLs for the new stadium?  I know the Cowboys will be selling them, but I haven't yet heard if they will be required for all seats or what they might cost.  Some NFL teams require PSLs for all season tickets, but others only require them for the best seats while alo selling non-option seating for the rest of the stadium.

I currently have non-option season tickets and I'm hoping the Cowboys will offer similar renewal options in the new stadium.  Woudn't mind spening the extra money, but I live in Albuquerque so it's already pretty expensive to fly out on game days.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help you on your question, but I have another question for the group. I dillydallied and didn't get '08 season tickets. Does anyone think that there will be 2009 season tickets available for people that don't have season tickets for '08. I live in TN, and will probably only go to 2 games but I have enough buddies that we could split them up. I have heard the capacity will be 80+ thousand?

We'll know very soon. I just got a flyer in the mail that says I'll have my new stadium package arrive before Thanksgiving. It's supposed to come in a big silver envelope.

I'm currently in Section 8 and hope that puts me in great shape to get similar seats in the new stadium. However, I've heard all kinds of rumors about club seats and $15,000 PSLs, so I can't wait to finally get the official information very soon.

If you don't currently have season tickets, I'm not sure what that means for your chances in the new stadium. I would think that if you get seats, they would be upper deck. Since the new stadium holds a lot more fans, I'd guess you'd get something. However, I currently have 2 seats and my salesman said I can probably up that to 4 in the new stadium--I wonder how many current ticket holders would want to do the same thing.

When will the 2009 season tickets go on sale to those who are not season ticket holders? want to start saving up to get the best seat possible.

    Re: Cowboys 2009 PSLs

First, let me say that I'm just speculating on all this. However, if other NFL teams are a guide (and I think they are), I think you will have the same timeframe for putting in for seats as everyone else. It just depends on where you are in the queue.

For the Baltimore Ravens, for example, (my dad has season tix), they mailed a form to fill out with your top 3 choices. They broke the stadium up into tiers based on PSL and season ticket cost. You ranked your choices, 1,2,3. You had to have the form in by a certain date. The Ravens then went through the list of requests and assigned seats. Everyone was given a place in the "line". Season ticket holders were given their place based on where their seats were in Memorial Stadium. Non season ticket holders were given a  place based on when they turned in their form. When your name came up on the list, they would look at your choices. If no "choice 1" seats were available, they'd drop to choice 2, etc.

Again, all my speculation and I'm only posting this because it's fun to speculate, even though we'll know for sure within a week. Good luck.

By the way, if you want the best seat possible, someone posted here some time ago that the top seats will have $15,000 PSL's and $400 face value tickets. those would be club level between the 40's, i believe. It will be interesting to see if that comment proves true.

If you are a season ticket holder and when they send you the 100% real information will you give us more information?

Sure I would, but the information will probably be available on the website before I get my package. There's a link that says "info coming soon" or something like that. Plus, I'm sure these boards will light up like a christmas tree once the info is released.

Sorry for the speculation, but I'm like a kid waiting for Santa to come.

After the current season tix holders have had their shot, whatever is left will be made available to the general public.  Also, you may have a shot at '08 tix if for some reason someone doesn't renew their season tix.  Good luck w/ that.  Demand is high right now.

I am a 20 year old college student and have been a Dallas Cowboy fan through the good times and the bad times, and I am looking to become a season ticket holder can someone shed some light on the process? And if you are looking to sell your 2008 season tickets I would be interested just as long as they are in the lower section?

Cowboys will host Superbowl XLV following the 2010 season in their new, yet-to-be-named stadium.  Actual date=Feb. 6, 2011.

According to an article I found in this newspaper, season ticket holders in the lower bowl will be taken care of first.

Thanks Mojo! Hopefully I'll get my foot in the door for '08. At this point I don't care where I'm sitting. I just want to be a part of the experience. Been a fan since I was 5 yrs old. I'm just now getting the finances to make the dream come true.

Anyone w/ season tix in the lower bowl have any news they want to share.  Media reports stated the season tic holders in the lower bowl b/t the goal lines would be getting letters.
