Over/under on Williams getting beat for touchdowns in the next 6 games?  I say 8, with a strong chance of an over.

5 in two games if we're playing Green Bay.

To make my stance on Roy Williams clear.

He's not awful.  He's mediocre/borderling good and shows flashes of being great, but he too often makes mistakes on rather routinue plays.  His tackling has improved over last year, and that was where I was really down on him.  Unfortunately he is paid like one of the greatest safeties in the game, and he isn't.  I understand the frustration because he doesn't play anywhere to the level of his contract.

Anthony Spencer should start next year because Greg Ellis is Average at best!

Well Bradie James and Jason Witten both also got paid last off-season, with similar contracts and they're both playing like leaders and all-world players.  Roy is playing like well, Roy and it's pretty frustrating considering we could've taken so many players with a top 10 pick instead of him.  Top 10 picks should be making game-changing contributions in every single game they're in, if you ask me.

Do you actually have a list of the current safties in the league, and how much they're making? Because it really seems to bother you how much Jerry Jones is paying him.

I don't care to look but rotoworld.com can show you the contract information on any player you like so if there were safeties you wanted to look up that would be the site I recommend.

Roy is the only Dallas Defensive back to crack the top 50 DB's in the league list (tied at #15). Roy is the #11 strong saftey on the list.  Roy's primary job is helping to stop the run.  Dallas is #5 in the league in run defense.  As a strong safety, Roy is required to be able to make solo tackles when it counts. Roy leads the team in solo tackles.  He has 2 interceptions and 5 defensed passes - not bad when compared to other strong safeties in the league.

    Ed Reed-6 years 40 mill.

Troy Polomalu. 4 years 30 mill.

Michael Lewis. 5 years 30 mill.

Roy Williams. 5 years 25 mill.

Michael Lewis is on that list because the 49ers were either desperate or stupid.  He is worse than Roy is, so I suppose I can calm down now.  I still think Roy is overpaid.  And yes I care what Jones is paying Roy because it affects the team's room under the salary cap.  Thereby affecting what moves the team can make.
