    Best Section In Texas Stadium

Does anyone have a preference? In your opinion what is the best section to sit in for a game at Texas Stadium? How are the upper level seats?

Club seats. It's so worth it!!!! They pamper the crap out of you and if you go in with a group it isnt as expensive!!! Just check out your jersey collection, least you can still wash your car with 21... *cough *cough I myself have: Romo, Owens, Barber, Staubach, and Emmit.

Club seats. What sections are they? Or are you talking about Suites?

Speaking of my Jersey's. I am getting ready to add a white Authentic Jason Witten. I buy 1-2 Jerseys a year.

You got what I meant hehe. Sorry. Yeah one of my relatives, Ron Strongwater, works for Staubach Construction, gets me those tickets. Yes, the suites. Stick out tongue  I think the Witten Jersey is a great idea! Just wish I could afford the authentics. Repli-thentic for me again!

and upper levels are fine, especially if you sit in the "lower" upper levels - there really isn't a bad seat in the house....get there while you can!Big Smile

The best seats are any seats on the home side of the stadium and the end zone where the players come out of the locker rooms onto the field.  The visitor's side and the other end zone, get blasted by the sun on warm, sunny days.

My wife and I are hoping to attend a 2008 game in texas stadium to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.  When you say there are "no bad seats" do you need binoculars to enjoy the game in the cheap seats?  I can't afford expensive seats as we'll be traveling from PA and airfare & hotel will gobble up most of our vacation fund.  TIA

A really good pair of binoculars is worth bringing to check out lots of stuff before kickoff & halftime. ONLY time I use them during play is a fumble, injury, etc..

My seats are upper, row 11, 20 yd line, row 20 is the top row.

I'd suggest either tampa, sf or seattle game. First three games likely mighty warm in there,,

Wife is from PA, she's there now at her mothers. Seems to be lots of diehard Cowboys fans in eagles/steelers land.

We will for sure attend a game at Philly in the next 2-3 years.

    Enjoy the game.

I agree with windham.  My wife is also from the east coast and I was stationed up near Philadephia and while I've seen my share of Eagle fans, I've also seen many Cowboys fans around Philly and DC.

As for the game, I honestly do not believe there is any bad seat in Texas Stadium.  I would honestly recommend trying to obtain seats on the sidelines if possible, and obviously the upper level sidelines will be cheaper than any lower level sidelines you can obtain (which will probably be insanely expensive in the secondary market).  If you cannot find any sideline seats, then try to obtain goal line seats as your last resort.  They'll probably be less expensive but obviously your view of the game won't be as great than if you had seats on the sideline.

As Windham stated, probably your best bet would be to attend the games he mentioned because of the weather, but I would further state that if you are trying to save some money, try to attend a less hyped game such as the games against SF, Tampa Bay, or the Bengals if you can.  The tickets to those games should be cheaper than if you were trying to attend any of the other games.  Take into consideration that any divisional matchup will be expensive because...well, they're divisional rivalries (some are even on Sunday and Monday nights, which even increase their value).  The Thanksgiving game may be expensive because it is the final Thanksgiving game at Texas stadium (not to mention the halftime show, etc)...and the Baltimore Ravens tickets may be expensive because it is the final regular season farewell game at Texas Stadium.  Unless you are truly wanting to attend those highly anticipated yet more than likely expensive games, I would recommend looking into attending the SF, Tampa Bay, or Bengals game.  Just a matter of opinion, but you're bound to find cheaper tickets to one of those than any of the others.

I hope you find what you are looking for and that you and your wife enjoy the opportunity to attend a game this year.

Hey guys, thank you for your helpful replies.  We have our sites on the Tampa Bay game and I hope it works out.  I've been watching this stadium (like many of you) ever since I was a kid.  I expect to get choked up just being there.
