I know this is a bit late, but my Fresno St. Bulldogs won the CWS, I just wanted to give them some props, since nobody else on this forum did( not saying they had to).

I also follow College Baseball and was very impressed with the Bulldogs. I played college baseball in Northern California so I know how talented they are every year. They are a powerhouse and now the whole world knows what Central California has to offer.

I thought they had blown the series after losing that first game against a very tough Georgia team but they came back after losing 5-0 in game 2. This was very impressive and has to go down as one of the greatest wins in College Sports History!

 

Congrats to Fresno.  It's too bad my LSU Tigers didn't get a chance to play them (not that it would have mattered b/c their bats seemed to be on ice this post-season).  I missed-out on a ring back in '98 with them and was hoping my cousin would get one... he has two more years to try.

LSU is always tough, they were definitely the team of the 90's. This year they beat a tough UCI team in the Super Regionals but Fresno State was a team of Destiny. They pulled it off!
