Big_D:With the emergence of Peterson, does he take over the top spot? Where does Jackson and LJ fit in? and is Barber finally a first round pick? I think the RB position has changed dramatically in the world of fantasy football. So you'll see QBs and WRs go earlier than usual. Last year in our draft 14 out of the top 16 were RBs and I don't see that happening again. Thoughts? I'm getting ready for draft season!! lol I think LT still has the top spot, followed by AP, then Jackson. I don't know about LJ, he'll probably get injured, he's getting old. Marion Barber's probably the 5th or 6th best RB though.

LT all the way. AP won't be able to play a full season. Ever.
OK, Ellis is a bit above average.

Has LT ever missed a game? The guy is amazing.
Peterson is sick, but is an injury waiting to happen.
Gotta still go with LT, even though he's getting up there in RB years.
Aikman's gonna throw, deep slant. Caught, 35. HARPER'S BREAK'N AWAAAYYY! HARPER'S GOT MIDFIELD! HARPER'S GOT THE 40, HARPER'S GOT THE 30, HARPER'S GOT THE 20, HARPER'S GOT THE 10.......
The sound of a dynasty beginning.

Peterson has a coach that likes to run a 2-back system (kinda) with him and Chester Taylor. Tomlinson is still the only guy in San Diego on a 1 RB system. LT still has the best Fantasy Value of any RB. I'm still gonna go to NFL.Com fantasy league and make an entire Dallas team and dominate once again.

Actually, it's hard to say. Peterson had an awesome Frosh year in college, and has been injured ever since. It is highly unlikely that AP will ever be injury-free. He might make it through a full season at some point, who knows. He has chronic ankle problems and two bad shoulders. And last year he hurt his kneee and missed a couple of games, and wasn't the same when he came back. Plus, if Minn doesn't get a QB, the defensive focus on the running game will keep him from realizing his full potential. If he can stave off the injuries, which to this point in his short career he hasn't been able to, he could be great.
BTW, AP's talent is absolutely phenomenol. That is not in question. As far as just pure ability w/o no other considerations, I might have to go w/ AP.

IMO LT is a risk, his injury late last season tends to linger with RB's. AP is a major injury risk and could just become another above average RB. SJ is a safe bet, LJ is following Shaun Alexander's footsteps. IMO, Westbrook is gonna be the best RB again this year. If I was #1 overall, I'd draft LT first, and then trade him for Westbrook and another player.

I don't know if you know it, but SJ's injury concerned his back, which often spells doom for RB's. Especially tall ones such as SJ.

According to ProFootball Weekly, SJ has a bulging disc in his back. I have no idea how serious it is, but quite often when a player starts having back problems, his is never the same afterward. Maybe SJ is the exception, hard to say.
