    Showin' the $$$$

I saw this onthe NFL Network tonight:

    Cowboys signed this off season:

    • Newman - 6 years - $50.2 million
    • Barber - 7 years -$45 million
    • F.Adams - 6 years - $43.8 million
    • Hamlin - 6 years - $39 million
    • Owens - 3 years - $27 million
    • A. Jones - 4 years - $13.3 million

First off, I can't even begin to fathom that much money, but what I was wondering (which is why this post is in The Rest of the NFL) is whether this expenditure...$218 million dollars in contracts for 6 players...is above or below the league average this year compared to the other 31 teams in the NFL.  Anyone know?

but the problem is they don't realize
    light exposes everything."

Back in the day, McScab signed what was it, 100 Million dollar deal? Same with Peyton.

The only person who is truly concerned with that big dollar amount which is the summation of the contract is the player's agent. By the NFL CBA, the player's agents are only entitled to 2.5% of the full value of the contract. Anything else the player's agent negotiates on the player's behalf is open season, but those contracts are tightly regulated by the NFL and the Players Union.

Maybe You Can Go Home Again....
