Here's a challenge for you...
Make an All-Time Cowboys team (starters only) using only players that never won a Super Bowl with us (or ever). No way is anyone going to attempt this.
Still waiting to see any sports team I'm a fan of win a championship. Still waiting. STILL WAITING.

Re: Here's a challenge for you...
I think it is possible, but I would have to have at least an hour on this puter to get it done. This is a good challenge. I bet "fansince64" (or something like that) could doit.
2008 is the year of the Cowboys!

Before I refuse to take your questions, I have an opening statement.

Re: Here's a challenge for you...
Great idea but a very difficult exercise. Here is my team. Feel free to chop it up:
Offense: QB – Don Meredith RB – Herschel Walker FB – Don Perkins WR – Terrel Owens WR – Frank Clarke TE – Doug Cosbie RT – Kevin Gogan LT – Flozell Adams C – Andre Gurode RG – Leonard Davis LG – Crawferd Kerr
Defense (using 4-3): DE – Greg Ellis DE – Willie Townes DT – John Dutton DT – LaRoi Glover OLB – Dexter Coakely MLB – Eugene Lockhart OLB – DeMarcus Ware CB – Everson Walls CB – Terrence Newman SS – Roy Williams (yes I know, but I couldn't think of another that fits the criteria) FS – Michael Downs

I applaud you sir. I thought no way anyone would try it. I guess it kind of helps that we have so many good current players that could make this list.

Re: Here's a challenge for you...
QB -- Eddie LeBaron (Tony Romo?)
RB -- Herschel Walker
FB -- Ron Springs
WR -- Terry Glenn, Raghib Ismail (no 49er deserves to be on an all-Dallas team)
TE -- Doug Cosbie
OT -- Flozell Adams, Phil Pozderac
OG -- Crawford Ker, Leonard Davis (Brian Baldinger?)
C -- Andre Gurode
K -- Nick Folk "Hero"
P -- Toby Gowin
Defense
S -- Ron Fellows, Dennis Thurman, Michael Downs
CB -- Terence Newman, Everson Walls (traitor)
LB -- Dat Nguyen, Eugene Lockhart, DeMarcus Ware (he's officially a LB, right?)
DE -- Greg Ellis, Chris Canty
DT -- Larry Bethea, John Smerek (Brandon Noble? That traitor. I would say John Dutton, but he wasn't that great)

Actually, DeMarcus Ware is officially a DE/LB. Its a new position invented this year. Terrel Suggs was complaining when he was offered the franchise tag that it was only the top 5 salaries of LBs being offered to him. DE make more money and half the time he plays DE. The league decided to make DE/LB and new position.
If your making this a 4-3 scheme team, I would boot out Chris Canty and put DWare in his place and then find another LB. Canty is a good 3-4 DE but in a 4-3 he just wouldn't get enough pressure. I'm not old enough to list many players from the Cowboys in the 80s so just to make it quick maybe you could throw Bradie James or Dexter Coakley. Eddie LeBaron was a really neat answer but I'd take Romo because LeBaron was a Deadskin before he became a Cowboy.
All in all, I think you have a great list.

Re: Here's a challenge for you...
I would throw in Coakley if Ware doesn't qualify, or maybe Jack Del Rio. I like Bradie James though.
Being a Maroonskin I can forgive (the windshield has no rivalry with the bug), but I refuse to mention any 49ers to an all-Dallas ANYTHING.

Don't you know it's the 40 whiners not the 49ers
Charles Haley, the only man in the history of football as a player with 5 Super Bowl Rings, and three of em were with The Dallas Cowboys !!!!

To much research for me...you can tell its offseason...i do like the fact you all included Doug Cosby he was one of my favorite te...and yes there should be a new position opened named beast....that would be for Ware and Barber...
