It feels a bit surreal coming back here. You know there isn't anyone around, yet you look regardless. 18 guests online, 2 members. Used to be in the 100's of guests for quite awhile no matter the time of day.

I do like the new forums quite a bit. However, this just feels like home. I mean there were those of us here from the very first days this forum opened for business. We went through The Great Purge. We tolerated mcpolo. We rooted for Romo to start the day after the Jaxonvil game. We cussed Vandershank and lamented Roy Williams coverage skills for 14 sets of archived threads. We've seen idiots come and go as well as seeing valued members come and go. We debated 34-32, Bledslow, and Julius to death.

Now it just feels like I'm talking into a big empty warehouse full of echoes. Strange, but this will always be home.

So it's not a surprise when it happens as far as I know once the new forums are 100% ready to go before the season, this place is being removed. I know you guys don't like being kept in the dark so I thought you should know that.

 Yeah, kinda figures. I didn't think they'd let two boards coexist.

 I was/am a newer member of this site, but I like this one better. =(

 

I'm nojtek on the other site btw.  I applied for registration on these boards for about 5 months useing the same name to register "nojtek" and nothing.  So one day I got a noble idea.  "Maybe if i register with something cowboy related"....hence the SilverAndBlue.  And the BAM accepted the next day. lol.  I coulda swore I had seen someone here with this name or similar however.  Oh well it worked, I guess.

I wouldn't boycott it, but I tried posting a photo last night and it wouldn't let me hot link. Maybe there's a way around it, but it says no html allowed. When I tried to upload the photo it reduced it to the size of a postage stamp, although I notice the signatures can be big. I just killed the post and haven't tried to post anything else. With all the training wheels, it's no fun to post. I tried to put the name of Skip Bayless' book "Hell Bent" in a post and it wouldn't let me do it. I've made about seven posts over there, and every one of them seems to have some kind of annoying thing that makes posting more of a hassle than it's worth. I'll check it out again before the season starts, but I don't think I'll be posting there, not that it's any great loss to the forum.

HAHA, I ran into that too, with the word hell. Someone there even discovered that you can't write the QB name John David Booty.
